Kurhaus Scheveningen, 22 november 2009, Fotoos | |  | | 
Mevrouw Screenpunk heeft een congres in Kurhaus Scheveningen en er is een tweepersoonskamer geboekt voor de overnachting. Ik wil me dit buitenkansje niet laten ontgaan en reis af naar de hofstad. Vanaf station Holland Spoor tram ik langs het Malieveld en Madurodam naar de kustlijn en meld ik me bij de receptiebalie van het Kurhaus.
Een mevrouw met strak gestifte lippen in een grijs mantelpakje geeft me een sleutelkaart. De lift brengt me op de 4e etage van het hotel en na een gangwandeling van zeker 200 meter kom ik bij de deur van kamer 469. Ik steek de kaartsleutel in de kaarthouder, de deur zwaait open en tada .. ik stap een kamer binnen met uitzicht op zee, het strand en de boulevard van Scheveningen.

this is the entrance of the Kurhaus and although it looks like some kind of back alley its a pretty high speed road for cars who want to visit the bars and restaurants there

stond dit beeld eerst niet op het Leidseplein in Amsterdam .. ik vind de nieuwe plek niet echt een upgrade het staat nu voor de ingang van het Kurhaus en tjonge jonge wat is het daar lelijk .. Gemeente Den Haag heeft er een enorm potje van gemaakt

Mini bar in het Kurhaus with champagne .. i used it the dutch way which means i let it inspire me and went to the supermarket down the street to get a bottle of bubbles double the size and a quarter of the prize

spent the night in the Kurhaus, a big old 5 star hotel at the coast in Scheveningen .. all was tippy toppy except that the watertap flew water on the marble desk instead of the basin when you let it flow easy .. after a while it started falling on the floor .. if thats how it works in all the twohundred and who knows how many rooms in the Kurhaus i guess some projectmanager must have freaked out after the reconstruction
