"Omgaan met hangjongeren"

"Coping with hoodlums" is a workshop provided by the city council (stadsdeel Amsterdam Centrum) on how to interact with hoodlums. Two weeks ago conservative politicians jumped on the topic and reasoned it is a waste to spend public money on soft approaches dealing with streetkids. As an effect the press showed up en masse at the workshop yesterday at de Oosterkerk. In the end the press people took over participation from the present neighbours because they enjoyed the role playing so much .. ooh the media boys and girls have big community hearts. "Coping with media" might be an attractive follow up course.
